I consistently taught a well-attended Yoga class at Magictown for several years (excluding 2020-2021). When I came back to the studio post-Covid, they were struggling financially and in danger of closing down, and I helped the owner launch a social media marketing campaign to revive the studio and it was very well received, the studio is doing better now than it ever has.I believe one of the reasons the studio was withering at the time was because of a lack of response or acknowledgment of Covid 19, and ultimately I have pivoted from teaching in person to teaching online because I am still prioritizing the health of my family and believe in the reality of what has taken place in the last three years, and would like to work with clients who have the same priorities.

I started working here as a part-time, weekend cashier, because I am a long-time food coop member, have a passion for food justice, and expensive taste in organic groceries. As the pandemic unfolded, my fine dining and yoga jobs vanished and I expanded my hours here. We were one of the first local grocers to start implementing Covid policies and curbside pick-up options, we did it quickly and with a lot of compassion during a wildly confusing time.
