However, he believes that this world will be thoroughly intelligentized by the electronics technology.Simon received his BASc with honour and MASc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Toronto. He currently is a Ph.D candidate in Applied Science in Smart Power Integration & Semiconductor Devices Research Group, University of Toronto.He is an audiophile, a photographer, a table tennis athlete, a saxophone and piano player.

I worked in Smart Power Integration & Semiconductor Devices Research Group, University of Toronto for my master thesis project.During these 2 years, I collaborated to design and implement 2 Power Integrated Circuits(PIC) design and implementation for the first year. In second year study, I solely accomplished 2 DC-DC converter ICs with TSMC and Dongbu technologies. Most importantly, I experienced the complete power VLSI design process including circuit design, circuit simulation, VLSI layout implementation, PCB design and layout and LabVIEW testing.
