Bagel Sphere is a regional wholesale bakery that serves single-unit and multi-unit restaurants, cafes, drive-thru coffee kiosks, and grocery stores. We produce individual and multi-packed baked goods and breakfast sandwiches, and distribute across Oregon. While we provide off the shelf solutions, we also work with customers to develop custom products that work with their brand and specific retail context. We also own and operate our own retail locations in Eugene, Oregon.

Oregon Copacking offers small-run blended spice copacking. We can fill bottles and standup pouches, and pack in cases, sample boxes, or retail-ready displays. Your product can be drop-shipped to distribution centers nationwide or sent to your facility for order fulfillment.

Hummingbird is an organic foods wholesaler based in Eugene, OR serving B2B customers from San Francisco, CA to Bellingham, WA. Hummingbird's focus is primarily on sourcing farm-direct organic grains, beans, seeds, nuts, dried fruits, and other foods from growers throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California. Hummingbird also produces a line of shelf-stable products in a food production facility in Eugene, including granolas and sprouted and dehydrated foods. Hummingbird additionally distributes high-quality flours, granolas, teas, and other items sourced from select local processors.I oversaw most departments at Hummingbird, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Farm Sourcing. I led company strategic planning efforts and business development.

At the University of Colorado, I performed bioinformatic analyses of next-generation sequencing datasets, including RNA-Seq, shRNA screens, and microarrays. I made use of my managerial and business background in the academic setting by co-writing grants (>$300K successfully funded), recruiting and mentoring undergraduate students, designing and developing external-facing websites, and managing the lab/vendor relationship. I also served as interim manager of the U of Colorado's Functional Genomics Facility, a role which was equal parts management and bench work.Additional scholarly work included successful publication of a peer-reviewed, first-author scholarly review article, as well as co-authorship on two primary data papers.

At Level 3 Communications (now Lumen Technologies), I worked on strategic projects across multiple business units, including the corporate treasury, network engineering group, wholesale voice product group, and the business process management team.Key Accomplishments:Developed a commercial paper strategy that redirected over $110M in investments into a diversified, short maturity portfolio, allowing us to avoid any loss of capital during the 2007-08 Financial Crisis. Analyzed and issued a sell recommendation to support a post-lock-up period equity liquidation that realized $44.5 million in net proceeds.Led a project to identify $1.1M in actionable OPEX savings due to redundant and non-growth communications assets post-acquisition.

I worked in and managed a variety of IT operational roles at Randolph-Brooks. While there, I managed the team and technology behind our network and security infrastructure. We protected $2.5 billion in assets and served 650+ employees. I also had the opportunity to work with some wonderful people on some outstanding projects, including a massive data center construction and migration, multiple branch office openings across Central Texas, and several corporate-wide technology installation or migration initiatives
