I worked in the University's School of Engineering Systems, Power and Energy Research Division as a summer intern as part of the CAREERWISE program. Assisted in a variety of R&D projects from countries such as Colombia and South Korea.

I worked in the Women's Clothing Department where I had varied roles:- Kept the shop floor replenished and tidy- Assisted customers on the shop floor and tills- Assisted in Fit & Style appointments (personal shopper)

I worked in the Clothing Department where I had roles such as:- Keeping the shop floor replenished and tidy- Assisting customers with any queriesI also helped out on the tills where my main duties were to:- Provide a polite and prompt service, processing, packing and taking payment for customer's shopping.

For a summer I lived with a Spanish family working as an au pair. I looked after 2 children, aged 10 and 12. My main responsibilities were: - Looking after the children when the parents were away at work - Playing with the children - Speaking to the children in English/teaching them English

I worked in the front of shop (takeaway) where I had several roles:- Greeting customers and taking their orders - Serving the food in the takeaway boxes- Taking payment - Making sure the counter was fully stocked (napkins/sauce/boxes)- Helping clean the kitchen at the end of the night

I worked across all the different departments (women's, men's and kid's) where my main roles where:- Keeping the shop floor tidy and presentable- Stocking up the shop floor when necessary - Helping customers with any queries- Taking payment on the tills
