I pursued a variety of challenging and interesting projects in the area of: Wire and Cable market consulting, compound development, manufacturing, new product development and new market introduction.

• Alignment of Engineering and Technology teams across all regions of the company ensuring alignment of Research, Development and Engineering activities with business strategy.
• One year assignment to Barcelona, Spain. Turn around of a $150m project in the Baltic Sea that was under serious contract deadline and consequences. Organizational alignment of teams in Spain, France and Germany. Drove.
• Eighteen-month assignment to the Asia Pacific region. New product introduction and plant turn around in India. EHV product introduction in Thailand tied to $100m sales plan. Partnered with Executive team to ensure.
• Initiated collaboration in India with multiple partners to source new materials technology and design solutions for the global company. Five active programs resulting in two high impact solutions to current technology.

• Led all aspects of Product Engineering with 120 associates across multiple sites and an overall budget of $25m. This new position drove alignment in formerly disparate teams in seven (7) locations across North America..
• Major business turn-around of a division with serious organizational, quality and design issues; over 18 months a $2m loss per month became a $1m per month profit
• Established a consistent process across all teams driving year over year cost improvement of greater than $7m per year
• Initiated a rotational training program (University recruitment) with multi year retention of talent at greater than 90%. 10 associates hired into program over five years, pace now three per year
• Multi year focus on new product development. Moved all teams to a “stage gate” project portfolio process underpinned with an IT solution (Accolade). Achieved 15% of sales from new products from an immeasurably low.
• Founded a cross functional Intellectual Property steering committee moving IP activity from an ad-hoc team by team approach to a consistent division wide high value process

• Combining teams in three sites: Product Engineering, Research and Development and HV testing. Forty (40) associates and $10m budget.
• Roll out of proprietary materials technology platform across five North American cable plants driving in excess of $5m in total compound cost savings (cost avoidance)
• Alignment and driving programs yielding an additional $2m in year over year cost savings
• Implemented ISO 9001,2001 in engineering design and laboratory functions. Drove high business team alignment of day to day quality resolution, customer service and support
