Most options you're being given are unsuitable and not worth your time- You're interviewing great people, but can't seem to get them through the process to the point of actually joining the team. This is putting pressure on you and the rest of the team- The external recruiters you're dealing with are difficult, inconsistent and don't seem to understand exactly what you're asking for. They're pushy CV factories, rather than actually consulting with you to get the right resultBut what makes me unique?- Complete honesty. I won't obscure the truth. I won't oversell or overpromise. If there's something I think you could improve about your hiring process, I'll tell you. If there's something about a job or candidate I'm presenting to you that you might want to investigate further, I won't hide it. If I make a mistake (I am human!) then I'll own up to it.- I care. Recruitment can feel transactional by nature, but I'll always make the effort to make things more pleasant and effective for all parties. I'm working in an industry that frequently provides a lot of terrible experiences for people who are just trying to hire and people who are just trying to find suitable work. I like to do what I can to change that.- Job adverts that dazzle, sizzle & inform. Recruitment advertising is by-and-large awful. I put in the effort to craft job ads that are attractive, distinctive and tell people why they should be interested in the role.
