I am working as an industrial PhD at DHI in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). At DHI, I am part of the Data Model Integration team in Hørsholm and at DTU, I am located in the section of Scientific Computing at DTU Compute. My PhD will evolve around physics-informed machine learning surrogates for Coastal-Ocean models, and it operates in the realm of Scientific Machine Learning. In January, I finished my master's degree in Mathematical Modeling and Computation at DTU as part of the honours programme. My thesis had the title ‘Data-driven Multi-Fidelity Techniques for Solving Partial Differential Equations’ and evolved around convolutional neural networks for improving the accuracy of numerical solvers. Apart from studying in the years 2018-2024, a large part of my time has passed with volunteer work in the student association Polyteknisk Forening (2019-2022), the Engineering association IDA (2020-2024), and as a co-founder of DTU Feminist Forum. The volunteer work has given me lots of great connections with my peers as well as hands-on experience with organizational work and student welfare.
