Every spring through fall, I work with a crew of up to 12 or so teammates per shift, preparing and maintaining the playing field surface for Major League Baseball's 3-time World and 2021 NL West Champion San Francisco Giants, either before, or during and after any number of 81 scheduled games per season. We use all manner of equipment, powered and manual, to present the field in game-and-broadcast-ready condition, consistently meeting MLB standards and regulations. We also prepare the field for public and private events scheduled between homestands and during the off-season, such as concerts and corporate gatherings.

I provided daily at-home care for my ailing, elderly mother from the onset of the pandemic until her death, ensuring her comfort and well-being by performing general housekeeping, food preparation, and assisting her with personal hygiene and exercise. I also ran her errands, transported her via car and wheelchair, and managed her medication.

I was the senior staffperson charged with setting up furniture, decor, lighting, and A/V equipment per given configurations for corporate gatherings in event spaces at this full-service urban lifestyle hotel during its first 2 years of operation. I supported Food & Beverage staff by stocking, maintaining, and storing necessary supplies, equipment, and consumables. During events occupying as many as 6 unique venues at a time, I provided secondary food & beverage service directly to hundreds of attendees. I bridged contact between attendees and event management, who encouraged me to take ownership of fulfilling our guests' special needs myself, in turn fostering my leadership and hospitality skills in personal interactions. I also had brief crossover stints as a Receiving Clerk and an In-Room Dining Server.

I cooperated with higher leadership to implement company directives and incentives to drive volume. I compiled sales data for company audits ensuring all revenue was accounted for accurately and on time. I handled service recovery for vehicle damage claims while prioritizing guest satisfaction, defusing escalation with honest and tactful communication. I provided coverage for absences, tardiness, and other last-minute scheduling demands.
