CliftonStrengths: Achiever. Strategic. Command. Analytical. Deliberative.Key Competencies: Active Listening. Continuous Learning. Relationship Building. Conceptual Selling.Myers Briggs: ENFP.My passion is growth: I crave personal and professional growth, thrive in team settings that drive business growth, and I am encouraged when I can facilitate growth in others.I am most motivated when I feel empowered to grow in an environment of autonomy and trust. Roles that stretch and grow me out of my comfort zone keep me engaged and enthusiastic as I overcome new and unfamiliar challenges. Leaders earn my respect when they give clear intent and guidance, yet allow me to make decisions with authority. I respond well to targeted and constructive feedback and coaching, and appreciate the honest and sometime tough conversations they involve. I have a curious mind that wants to intimately understand domains of knowledge and schools of thought, but more than learning I desire to apply the knowledge I gain. There are a few competitive bones in my body; however, rather than comparing myself to who others are today, I express this trait by comparing myself to who I was yesterday. I especially demonstrate this competitive nature in the context of business growth. While it may be common to think of growth as one entity growing, say in market share, while another shrinks, I tend to look at improvement on historical performance. For example, growing market share can be used to compare performance against competitors, but it can also be a misleading metric - or worse, a vanity metric - if the total market were to shrink. Rather than taking an outside-in approach, I prefer to look inside-out in regards to performance and growth by asking what can be done to incrementally improve on yesterday's performance.I have been a part of and even led many high-performance teams, and though business results are rewarding, there is nothing quite like helping others through challenges and seeing them overcome what once held them back. My leadership style is indicative of this style in that I take the time to truly listen to and understand what is contributing to and inhibiting one's success.

Sales Associate, Wardrobe ConsultantMen'S Wearhouse Feb 2016 - Dec 2017Houston, Texas, UsWhile working at The Men's Wearhouse, I had the privilege of leading the store in custom suit sales, a feat achieved by adapting my sales approach to cater to each customer's immediate and long-term needs. This personalized touch not only enhanced customer satisfaction but also contributed significantly to the store's success. One notable achievement during my tenure was increasing my average sales ticket by an impressive 150%. I accomplished this by going beyond the sale of individual clothing items and instead focusing on building complete outfits tailored to specific events or occasions. This approach not only resonated with customers but also created a unique opportunity to sell a whole outfit rather than a single item. Moreover, I committed energy and focus to reducing customer returns. I recognized that the role I played wasn't just about selling clothing items but about helping customers co-create a personal brand through their wardrobe choices. By ensuring that customers felt genuinely good about their purchases, I fostered long-lasting relationships and minimized returns. These experiences at The Men's Wearhouse strengthened my skills in sales, customer service, and the art of building lasting connections with clients. It was a period of growth, both for the store and for my professional development. -
StudentUniversity Of North Texas Aug 2015 - Dec 2017Denton, Tx, UsThe Academics:I graduated from the University of North Texas Magna Cum Laude after earning a "full-ride" academic scholarship to the through my the merits of my high school academic achievements. I attended the institution immediately after high school graduation, and graduated a 18 months early due to accelerated course loads and 30 credit-hours from high school dual credit and advanced placement courses. The Experience:The University of North Texas was an absolute change of pace for me. I graduated from a high school with 50 students in my senior class and less than 800 people in my hometown. When I accepted an academic scholarship to UNT, I knew I was in for a very different experience than my formative years. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the institution's level of diversity, but also the level of acceptance for each of its individual students - I found a caring community at UNT. In addition to the winning culture at UNT, I found academic rigor and a plethora of unique experiences in each of the student organizations I joined. Finally, I secured a part-time job in the Office of Orientation and Transition Programs during one summer, where I found a high-performance team and wonderful opportunity to expand my professional horizons. -
Parent Orientation LeaderUniversity Of North Texas Mar 2016 - Aug 2016Denton, Tx, UsOver the summer I led eight three-day and six one-day Parent and Family Orientations which were provided to prepare the families of incoming students for their loved-one's transition to college. In this role I improved upon my public speaking skills through directing tours, serving on student panel sessions, and leading up to 200 parents and family members at a time through various orientation activities. In this role, I developed a stronger sense of empathy, increased my patience, and learned to actively listen to the problems of others. -
It Business Relationship Manager Business Analyst InternPepsico May 2017 - Aug 2017Purchase, New York, UsMy summer internship at experience with PepsiCo's Information Technology function marked my first endeavor into the corporate setting. Equipped with a sales background from Men's Wearhouse, end-to-end process improvement at Luke Group, and public speaking and leadership skills from UNT, I began my first role as a junior Business Relationship Manager (BRM). The role was structured such that I supported and understudied a senior BRM who owned the agenda of driving adoption of approved collaboration tools throughout the employee base in Frito-Lay North America, a division of PepsiCo. My responsibilities for the summer included conducting interviews of end-users, documenting use-cases for various collaboration tools, and developing and administering training materials. In this role, I began to discover the importance of building personal relationships and fostering trust with colleagues; additionally, I witnessed first-hand how difficult driving change in organizations can be. -
Strategic Products Lead, Product AnalystLuke Group Jan 2015 - Jun 2015At LukeGroup's eLukeTronics division, a startup venture specializing in refurbishing and reselling smart equipment on the second-hand market, I embarked on my professional journey. This opportunity allowed me to gain invaluable insights into the challenges faced by a nascent organization. In my role as a diagnostician, I assessed the physical and digital condition of products and created comprehensive digital profiles for each item. These digital profiles not only supported sales descriptions but also empowered us to negotiate better terms with our suppliers. Additionally, they served as a valuable database for product trends, shedding light on which product conditions contributed to shorter 'shelf lives' or higher sales prices. This experience fostered my initial understanding of lean operations, supply chain management, product quality, and their profound impact on sales. As time progressed, I began to view the various departments as interlinked components of a broader system, where product flow could be optimized. Collaborating closely with management, I played a pivotal role in implementing streamlined product flow within the diagnostics and repairs departments, ultimately extending these improvements to enhance the overall product flow throughout the organization. These continuous enhancements, driven by systems thinking, had a ripple effect and led to diverse opportunities. For instance, the founder invited me to partner in shaping the strategic sales direction for the company once daily tasks were accomplished. This experience illuminated the trade-offs inherent in strategic decision-making. Notably, we made data-driven decisions, such as employing loss leader tactics, which significantly improved our company rating, securing us a prominent position in eBay search results and earning us the prestigious title of Top Seller. It was within this organization that my passion for business operations, systems engineering, and sales began to take root.
