Sage is a world-wide leader in integrated accounting, payroll and business management software based in the United Kingdom, with operations in 23 different countries. As the Sr Product Marketing Manager for the SMB segment in Brazil, I’m responsible for overseeing the entire product portfolio especially designed for the small & mid-size entrepreneur (what we call PME in Brazil). This portfolio includes a wide range of products, from invoice issuers to a complete suite of ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning) software integrating purchasing, sales, finance, inventory and point-of-sale operations. My responsibilities include managing all aspects of introducing and maintaining the product line, such as price & positioning, go-to-market strategy, marketing and communication campaigns (field & digital), competitor’s benchmark, elaborating on each product key benefits, among others. I also work with commercial teams in building the right sales pitch and compelling arguments to improve sales. In addition, it’s also my responsibility to work with product engineering teams defining each product roadmap and tracking deliveries using Agile and OKR methodologies.

Icaro Tech is a tech company specialized in management solutions, services, dashboards and analytics for intelligent operations. As the Account Executive in charge of the International Operations, I coordinated a multi-disciplinary effort to identify, prospect and develop new markets and customers outside Brazil, especially USA, Canada, UK and Australia. Besides doing most of the customer relationship management, my responsibilities included working with pre-sales engineers on proposals, doing technical and business presentations of our products and services, doing product demos, working with the product team on assisting with their roadmaps based on customer’s feedback, working with delivery teams in Scrum cells to translate customer requirements into user stories, among other things.

Tech startup focused on mobile and web solutions, especially in retail and education segments. Our mission was to deliver high value-added services to our audience. We used to have two products in the market: http://appbuscapet.com.br and http://gabaritar.net.br . As managing partner, I was in charge of setting overall company strategy; establish external alliances through partnership, merges and acquisitions while responsible for managing customer engagements, relationships. I also served as co-CTO, setting up and maintaining the back-end infrastructure (Java servers, Mongo databases and client-server JSON protocol mapping) that supported our front-end products (mobile apps and web sites).

Program Manager responsible for overseeing the entire MOTODEV Program (http://developer.motorola.com) in Brazil, from tools development to customer relationship (internal and external) and social media interactions. The MOTODEV program used to be Motorola’s Global Developer’s Program providing tools, documentation and technical support to enable developers around the world to create, debug, deploy and test software applications in virtually any Motorola product. Within the tools development domain, responsibilities included the development of the most complete and extensive tools suite for mobile development targeting Motorola-supported application environments, the MOTODEV Studio tools. Former versions included JavaME, Linux, WebUI/Widgets and Symbian/UIQ. Nowadays, efforts are all focused on Android.On the customer relationship/social media domain, I was responsible for interacting with several internal teams at Motorola (engineering, product and technical marketing, communication) as well as external customers such as mobile developers to promote and evangelize our tools and technical services. Activities included speaking at developer events, recruit developers to create compelling apps to our products, demoing our tools and services, answering all kinds of business and technical questions regarding mobile development for Android and Motorola Mobility. I was also the face behind the @motodevbr account in Twitter.

Sr. Project Manager working for the Libertyville Competency Center under the SE&O (Service Engineering & Optimization) group, as part of the Mobile Devices GTM Global Services organization. Main responsibilities included management of process improvement projects associated with the Competency Center NPI process for defective units; system enhancements to several of the web-based tools used by Competency Centers around the world to increase process efficiency, quality of data and reduce cycle time for defective units and associated issues raised by the service network. Also responsible for implementing the SE&O Governance Process where projects within the SE&O organization are periodically assessed and evaluated against predefined parameters, to validate business alignment and financial results. Green Belt certified in September 2006 with the FSB Release Cycle Time Improvements project. A FSB (Field Service Bulletin) is a report issued by the Competency Centers to inform the service network on how to address a particular issue associated with one or more products.

Sapient Inc. (www.sapient.com) is a leader consulting firm with strong presence in the automotive industry. Worked as Project Manager for the automotive supplier segment, managing a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) implementation for a tires and wheels Honda supplier. Business process design, training coordination, system setup and configuration, overall project planning, tracking and oversight, status reports, risks mitigation and others were part of daily activities.

Eldorado Institute (www.eldorado.org.br) is one of Motorola Mobility’s main subcontractor for software development in Brazil. Worked as Software R&D Manager, responsible for mobile phone tools and Web-based applications projects development in partnership with Motorola Brazil Design Center – BDC/CAA, focused in C, C++, J2ME/J2EE (Java) and Oracle technologies. Responsible for a group of 34 employees with multi-million budgets for consecutive years. Started as software developer for pager content provider systems, promoted to Project Manager in September 2000 and to R&D Manager in December 2002, role played until June 2004. Member of the Software Development Process Improvement Group, with intensive participation, being directly involved with quality goals and methodologies. All projects development used quality assurance process developed inside the organization, compliant to CMM and ISO standards, also with contributions from Motorola processes and tools.

Development and support of a corporate application that managed equipments and the workforce inside internal and external telecom carrier sites and personnel. This desktop application was responsible for storing and tracking reported field issues and to provide the necessary actions to solve them. Based on Sun workstations (Solaris), this system worked in a client-server environment supporting all major Operating Systems (Unix e Windows). Development was performed using C/C++ over Oracle database.

Development of AIX (Unix) applications based on RISCs workstations, using basically C and C++ programming languages. Worked in the MSP – Multi Service Platform, application that provided enhanced services to customers, allowing the owner of the platform to develop its own customized services. The job was focused in the platform management component development (EMS). Internally, worked as a member of the trainee program coordination, participating in the selection process staff.

From October, 1994 until February, 1995 worked in the desktop publishing area, writing and designing graphical material to be used in the courses given by the Lab. Joined the software development team later on, working with Windows programming using C/C++ and MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes), building specific Windows solutions for the banking industry.

Two-month summer trainee program working in the software development group, using FoxPro database tool. Used by the agricultural staff to store and exchange data among various research Labs from many countries, consolidating the information sent by them.
