I was apart of the youth steering committee, before Nia Centre for the Arts became established with Mark Campbell, Asheda Dwyer and other founding members of the organization. I was a volunteer member where I sat on the board of directors for the YSC bringing my entrepreneurial skills to the table, and had to attend regular meetings on time, strategic planning events, workshops, training, and created art base programs for the afro diaspora youth.

_Mr.Fresh Completed The Green Change Project Agent Training Program with focus on sustainability, energy conservation, and waste management._Mr.Fresh played a very important role in leadership that was extremely helpful in greening the Jane and Finch community. A place we like to call Jane & Fresh! He helped to reduce the environmental carbon footprint by 2,000tonnes by actively planting trees, plants, gardens, farming and refreshing the community. With many residents who were already his customers at the time from his door to door business of all natural, eco-friendly Mr.Fresh Air Fresheners. He helped the project to received tremendous support from the community residents and media recognition that was featured in the Toronto Star, also Mr.Fresh helped The Green Change Project to Won The Green Toronto Awards In 2010! _While Mr.Fresh was volunteering with the Green Change Project, Dwayne Wright got to meet people like Van Jones, Barrack Obama Climate Change Minister, and got to work with people like Majora Carter TedxTalks Environmental Activist who took an active role in (Greening The Ghetto) in the South Bronx and Jane And Finch. She is famous for her story of rescuing a park that was abandoned dump with her rescued dog that led her there that was a sewage dump of corporations abusing the environment. She manage to leverage a seed grant of $10,000 and turned that abandoned park in South Bronx into a $3 Million Dollar Park._Mr.Fresh was a public speaker at events at conferences like the Green Jobs For All, and learned how to become a dynamic speaker in front of large crowds._He attended regularly meetings on time, and events and conferences. _Lastly, Mr.Fresh helped the project to win the North York Urban Heroes Awards, and the Canadian Urban Institute Awards by active participation and teamwork!_

The Creative Institute for Toronto's Young (CITY) Leaders is a leadership development institute for young people working and volunteering in the community and social service sector in the city of Toronto. Offered through an 8 month period CITY Leaders provides participants with a supportive and stimulating learning experience delivered through educational sessions, online forums, mentoring, peer-learning and project-based experiential learning followed by networking activities.
