I spent over 2 years at Next developing and improving my customer service skills. I was able to gain vital experience in both individual and team work within the job; allowing me to develop my critical thinking and how proactive I am. My roles within the job included: serving and conversing with customers, building a rapport with customers to create a friendly environment, assisting with cleaning duties to ensure that the space was maintaining high cleanliness standards, tidying area and keeping stock presentable. A main part of my role was being available to help and assist customers with any queries or issues they had; this meant remaining focused and dedicated to the role and task at all times.
