Lecturer Of Sport And Netball Head Coach
CurrentIn this role I am responsible for delivering lectures across the curriculum for Sport and Exercise Science and Sport and Physical Activity at Level 3 but also I am teaching learners on the College’s ‘Transition to T-Level’ Sports Programme. All the while actively running the Netball Development Squad as the Head Coach.I deliver high quality content to a wide variety of students across the college, while pushing to stretch and challenge all those students who enter my classroom. I am responsible for marking and feeding back to students on their assessments and exams ensuring they have the best opportunity to achieve the best possible grade.Although not directly linked to the role, I am responsible for an entire tutor group of students which has various responsibilities including UCAS, Target Grades and Effort Grades. This aspect of the role will also allow me to work closely with the Pastoral Team as so the student receives the best possible care while at College.In my capacity as Netball Head Coach I deliver high quality training sessions to the students so they can expand on their abilities. In this role I also am required to liaise with other Colleges for fixtures and at times I will umpire the games along with opposing coaches. I am have a Mini Bus License which I use to transport students to external sites in my capacity as Lecturer and Head Coach.
