As a marketing intern, I am responsible for the digitally developing and marketing the business. Tastebox small start-up food delivery service that is designed to create ease and efficiency for their customers. This involves communicating with the CEO on future marketing campaigns, fostering collaborations with other businesses, trouble-shooting ideas and developing the digital platforms of the business. I am also responsible for gathering data for the company’s website and social media pages. Furthermore, I create new campaigns through the Abode creative cloud programs and Google ad words.

I worked within a small team of 3 colleagues to market a new application on the UQ campus. My team and I gathered followers for the application through posting blogs to the social media page to generate Internet traffic as well as filming and designing a video called “What’s your Swag?” (viewed more than 600 times). Through these initiatives, my team significantly increased the subscription rate of the application within our target market.
