As Chief Marketing Officer at Verisec AB, I worked both strategically and operationally, in a fast-paced environment, and in close cooperation with all departments. I was responsible for a team of four talented and creative employees in both Sweden and Serbia, and our main focus was to increase the number of users of our product Freja eID. I was responsible for leading the team in projects from ideation to finished product, both in B2B and B2C, very often managing several projects simultaneously. My role as CMO included, in addition to responsibility for all external and internal communication, also the responsibility for Investor Relations.

Responsible for coordinating various projects, producing graphic materials and ensuring that the company’s message was communicated in the best way possible. I worked mostly operationally with coordinating production, web publishing, advertising campaigns, events, social media, PR and IR activities and internal activities, as well as making the budget.

Responsible for developing and implementing a new graphic profile, produced marketing materials, ensured that all branding and materials followed central and local guidelines. Implementation of shared staff booking system and business transition to Google Drive. I was also the project manager for the internal GDPR project – to develop new processes and help colleagues become GDPR ready.

I was responsible for the day-to-day business and 15 employees, all of whom worked voluntarily. Introduced new HR processes such as job descriptions and action plans where employees had to set individual goals that were followed up every month. I was also responsible for finance, which included setting budgets, invoicing and managing purchases.

I was responsible for a group of 25 people and our mission was to create marketing campaigns for all student related events (three per week) at Kårhuset Trappan. I was also responsible for social media, had close contact with printing agencies and produced a lot of graphic material.

The main focus was driving sales and profit within the store through the delivery of exceptional customer service on the shop floor. I worked with everything related to the store’s daily operations. I was also responsible for training new employees. During 2014-2015 I worked extra on weekends and in the summer while studying full time.

I worked as a telemarketer and my job was to sell magazines to private individuals - everything from Dagens Nyheter to Kalle Anka. I learned a lot about sales and how to listen to best meet customer needs. To encourage us to sell more, competitions were organised every day and I won the prize for best sales results several times.

While studying, I worked extra as marketing assistant at IFS Scandinavia. I helped employees with their consulting profiles/resume, emailed and called customers, and packed products for marketing campaigns. I assisted both marketing and HR managers.
