Leads a team of 5 personnel to ensure all projects are effectively completed. Lead this team through a 9 month deployment that supported an overall of 8,000 personnel including foreign components. Completed weekly briefs to high ranking leaders involving project updates and key information. Accounted for over 10,000 dollars worth of equipment that was needed to complete these projects and support the entirety of the mission. Trained up several Soldiers to be able to effectively be a valued member of the team and encourage them to reach for higher positions as well.

Served in roles including team leader, supervisor, and customer service representative. Ensured all transactions involving personnel (payroll, personal actions, and awards) were up to standard and routed to the appropriate chains for approvals and reviews. These transactions came from seven different Battalions that consisted of around 2,500 personnel. Effectively lead a team of 4 Soldiers to assure the amount of work was completed in a timely manner, as well as ensured the team worked in an effective manner.

With less than 1 year experience in the military, effectively lead a team from Fort Carson, Colorado to a 9 month deployment in Afghanistan. Roles included juggling several projects at once, such weekly leader meetings, promotion boards held monthly, mail operations completed daily, and personnel actions. Was recognized by high ranking leaders for efforts throughout the deployment and continued contributions.
