The master thesis topic was "Ergonomic evaluation in a development workshop". The purpose was to investigate and improve the ergonomics in a development workshop at Volvo Group, Lundby, focusing on heavy lifting and hand vibrations. This was done by identifying the present ergonomic state in the development workshop by using ergonomic evaluation methods and then evaluating the method’s applicability in this context.

The director is responsible for the whole recruitment, production and a group of total approximately 40 other students that works with the production voluntary. The director is also representing the Chalmersspex externally and is responsible from economic and admistration as well as the future and strategic development of the organisation.

To be a control supervisor "Kylen" at Arla Foods in Jönköping means that you supervise the highly automated system Warehouse Manager, created by Swisslog. Warehouse Manager controls both a crane system and several robots that operate in the warehouse. You also supervise the communication between Warehouse Manager and Arla Foods own internal computer system called Movex, later changed to SAP. You are qualified to solve problems in the communication and if necessary control the hardware manually.

Working as Vice President in the student union board takes one year from the regular studies. The tasks include supporting the President, and together manage the student union board members. Is the utmost responsible for the overall economy, and offering support to all the engaged students in the student union. You are also representing the members and make decisions on a daily bases.

TDjobb is Deign Engineering's group that handles all the corporate relations. The group host different events during the year for the students involving alumni and companies.

A supplemental instructor is supposed to be a complement to the initial education. The meetings takes place as group exercises where the instructors task is to steer them rather than point them in the right direction.
