As the Head of Business Development at Kilimogram, I was responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the platform within the agricultural sector. My key responsibilities included:-Developing and executing business strategies to streamline connections, transactions, and collaborations between farmers, input providers, and customers.-Building and maintaining partnerships with key agricultural stakeholders to expand Kilimogram’s market reach.-Leading initiatives to promote the platform’s services, including showcasing farm products, inputs, and resources for farmers and input providers, while enhancing user engagement.-Writing SEO-focused blogs and content to boost Kilimogram’s online visibility and attract more users.-Facilitating the creation of groups and forums for farmers to engage, collaborate, and share knowledge, strengthening the agricultural community.My role centered on empowering farmers and stakeholders, ensuring that Kilimogram became a valuable resource.

A membership-based platform for young agro-entrepreneurs that aims at improving the face of agriculture and food security in Africa through innovative practices. • In charge of organizing capacity building activities for members• Creating and Hosting discussions on popular discourses surrounding Agriculture and food security in the world today• Reaching out to youths around the country as a recruiting strategy with an end goal of creating a community of youths passionate about sustainable farming systems• Generating reports of all the activities and meeting held in the course of the year• Spokesperson to the Kenyan youth in the forum to the overall AAVF umbrella team

A certified organic regenerative farm that seeks to improve and restore the natural ecosystem through sustainable farming practices dealing with livestock, horticulture and Agroforestry production.Roles and Projects:1. Broiler Production - Here, I initiated two Feed Formulation trial projects that sought to assess suitable alternatives to growth antibiotics that have since flooded the Kenyan broiler industry.
