A Civil Associate with substantial expertise in water quality management plans, Advanced Engineering Software (AES) modeling for hydrology and hydraulic analysis, conceptual designs using MicroStation and Civil 3D, preparation of hydrology maps, watershed delineations, creation of surfaces/alignments/profiles and flood mapping using HEC-RAS. My experience as an Engineer in Training (EIT)entails inventory of the existing storm-drain features and identification of potential Best Management areas along major highways in Southern California for Caltrans. I chiefly participated in delineation of Total Discharge areas and identifying discharge points within Caltrans right of way. I have also been involved in hydrology and hydraulic analysis for offsite sub-watersheds tributary to the I-10 corridor. My stormwater design background also includes use of WSPGW and Flow-master in hydraulic analysis. Future Goals: I’d love to be an expert in Stormwater and wastewater modeling (XP-SWMM), perform dam inundation studies, design bridges, create 2D/3D model using HEC-RAS, get my Professional Engineer’s license and up my game to become a project managerI aspire to keep utilizing my engineering skills to offer cutting edge solutions to various problems denting the well-being of the society.
