CurrentSupervising Community Drug Distributors (CDDs): Overseeing the work of CDDs who are responsible for distributing antimalarial drugs to community members during the seasonal malaria chemoprevention campaign.Training and Orientation: Providing comprehensive training and orientation sessions to CDDs, ensuring they understand the purpose of the campaign, the dosages and administration of antimalarial drugs, and the importance of accurate record-keeping.Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitoring the performance of CDDs to ensure compliance with protocols, accurate drug distribution, and adherence to safety guidelines.Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the distributed drugs, including verifying the correct dosage and storage conditions, as well as maintaining a proper supply chain for drug procurement.Community Engagement: Collaborating with community leaders, stakeholders, and health authorities to promote community participation and support for the seasonal malaria chemoprevention campaign. Communicating the importance of malaria prevention and the benefits of the distributed drugs to community members.Record-Keeping and Reporting: Ensuring accurate and complete documentation of drug distribution activities, including maintaining records of distributed doses, monitoring adverse events, and preparing regular reports to be submitted to higher authorities.Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during the campaign, such as logistical problems, community resistance, or adverse events.Compliance and Compliance Training: Ensuring that CDDs and other team members adhere to ethical and legal guidelines.Capacity Building: Identifying training needs and providing ongoing support and mentorship to CDDs to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.
