FRIDAY IFEANYI NWOKOLO is an innovative individual who sees things from different perspectives. He believes that ideas can change the world. Technology, Innovation and dynamism will change the way things are done and bring about the desired impact. In the last 21 years, I have garnered experience in various sectors of Arts, Finance, NGO management, and Teaching at both Secondary and Post-Secondary school levels. In 13 of those years, I have focused on Starting and nurturing new businesses (including products) for NGOs and Financial Institutions and these products have successfully contributed Billions of Naira to the bottom line of each of the last three institutions.In these last 13 years, I have worked as a Credit officer, Team lead, Branch Manager, Area Manager, Divisional head, Regional Manager, Product Manager and National sales Manager (Product Specific) of a bank. I have been Project Manager for implementation of two major projects which delivered over 90% of the target. One of those project was an Innovation Grant of $2 Million while the other was worth $500,000. Both projects delivered Financial literacy, Impact Financing and Clean Energy to over 150,000 BoP households.As Head of Training, Research and Documentation, I delivered trainings to over 10 MFBs and MFIs. This helped over 2500 practitioners to become better in the areas of serving the financially excluded households. These trainings delivered innovative ideas around digitalisation, Agency Banking, Agric Value Chain and SME financing. My strength lies in bringing the best out of team members with the understanding that together, we CAN bring about a positive change. My mantra has always been, “Nothing is Impossible” Each of the products I started contributed N billions in revenue and profits.I pioneered the Management of one of the largest NGO playing in the Financial Inclusion space and was part of the team that initiated the Rapid Expansion Vision of that NGO, establishing several branches across the country. Today, the NGO makes N billion annually and has established a State Microfinance Bank.In 2011, I got a chance through EFInA to attend the famous BOULDER Micro Finance Training in Turin Italy. I have attended many other trainings in Management, Credit Analysis, Project Management, Anti Money Laundering, Train the Trainer etc I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.I have a PET project tagged #MMP- Microfinance Meets Practitioners.
