Friday Chamfya is a visionary, highly skilled, dynamic young leader who’s passionate about development in education sector as a commercial secondary teacher, media as the TV/ Radio broadcaster and in health as a psychosocial counsellor with a keen interest in young people's diverse needs. He has over 4 years’ experience in the NGO sector working with both local and International level. His experience varies from working as District Focal Point Person & Projects Manager with Non- Governmental Gender Organizations Coordination Council on funded Projects by the European Union, Swedish Embassy and Local Government. Friday Chamfya has immerse experience leading women and youths in developmental projects, providing technical assistance in meaningful youth engagement, project management and implementation, working on climate change projects, Womens Economic Empowerment, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, HIV/AIDS, Covid-19, gender issues, governance and decisions making at community, district and national level.As a Youth Advocate, Friday Chamfya has initiated various programs, projects, events and workshops that equips, Women and the Youth in business development, technical assistance, personal development and entrepreneurship skills thereby positioning them in a society to be self-reliant and problem solvers.Friday Chamfya believes that a self-reliant Africa is a fast approaching reality and has dedicated his life to this cause.Friday CHAMFYA is YALI Alumni, trained in Business and Entrepreneurship Development from Yali Regional Leadership Centre in South Africa 🇿🇦. Friday Chamfya is the Founder and Executive President of AIM-HIGHER YOUTH COOPERATIVE - ZAMBIA registered with the National Youth Development Council in Zambia to operate at National level. Aim-Higher Youth Cooperative is focusing on addressing entrepreneurship, business development, leadership development, skills development for the empowerment of youths through capacity building, employment creation and poverty elevation and Climate Change action. Through its leader is looking forward to create synergies and partnerships with other youth led -organizations, NGOs and Governments both local and international for the realization of the beter future for empowerment of next generation leaders and change makers.
