She is a regular speaker and author on privacy and related matters, an editor of the SDU Data Protection Case Law Journal. Besides being the chairwoman of the Take Back Your Privacy Foundation and a member of the General Board of the Grotius Academy, she is a member of the education advisory board of Technology Meets Law. She is also an alternate member of the Dutch Disciplinary Appeals Board as well as a member of the Analytics Advisory Committee of the Dutch Ministry of Finance.
