My career objectives are to develop innovative therapeutics and diagnostics, especially those based on nucleic acids. In addition to creating an R&D team at Atom Bioworks par excellence (who have gotten our DNA STAR SARS-CoV-2 lateral flow assay to pre-EUA, and obtained proof of concept data for the usage of DNA STARs as therapeutics), I have dedicated my career to the amelioration of healthcare problems facing society via multiple modalities, from the development of therapeutics and medical devices, to the improvement of patient outcomes, and the pioneering of administrative initiatives and capabilities. I have extensive commercialization and post-launch expertise in multiple specialty markets, such as Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, Hemophilia A and B, Fibrinogen and Acute Hemorrhage, Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors, Sickle Cell Disease, Beta Thalassemia, and others.
