In my current role as a Junior Software Engineer, I have been deeply involved in both backend and frontend development, expanding my expertise in a variety of technologies. I played a key role in updating the backend of our primary application using PHP and MySQL, enhancing its performance and reliability. Additionally, I contributed to the development of a new, unified user login and registration system across all of our applications, utilizing Vue.js, PHP, and MySQL.As part of a small, focused team, I also worked on modernizing outdated systems, ensuring they meet current standards and user expectations. This role has allowed me to grow my skills in UX and UI design, where I was responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces for thousands of users. Throughout this experience, I’ve gained proficiency in various design tools like Miro and Freehand, as well as new programming technologies, further solidifying my foundation as a versatile software engineer.

As a Junior Software Developer, I took on a pivotal role in adding a new simulation game to our existing application, which was played by hundreds of participants in a competition. This experience required me to quickly diagnose and resolve issues under pressure, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience. Alongside this, I contributed to the development of a new application from scratch using Vue.js. Working in a small, agile team, I collaborated closely with designers and utilised tools such as Freehand to ensure our project met both technical and user experience standards. I also managed communications with procurers, ensuring that our solutions were aligned with their needs and expectations.

During my internship, I worked closely with a small, agile team of developers and a project manager to maintain and enhance a complex application built with React and TypeScript. This role gave me hands-on experience with a large codebase, where I contributed by implementing new features, optimising existing functionalities, and ensuring the overall stability of the application. Collaborating with experienced developers, I deepened my understanding of best practices in software development and gained valuable insights into effective teamwork in a dynamic environment.
