He gained experience from his work in more than 37 countries out of which 17 are located in CEE and NIS countries and he has been contracted by various IFIs (World Bank, ADB, EU/EIB, EBRD, UNDP, KfW, Swiss Development Cooperation, Austrian Development Cooperation). He recently was engaged in a benchmarking project in India, policy and advisory Technical Assistance (ADB) in Armenia, in sector reform projects in Ukraine, Moldova, Kosovo and Syria, in water utility performance evaluation and improvement in Bulgaria, Montenegro, Tanzania, Turkey and the Czech Republic as well as in developing and implementing capacity building programs for water utilities in various countries. Further, he was involved in KfW financed projects in Donetsk/Ukraine, Diyarbakir/Turkey and Albania. Mr. Holzmann has gained extensive project management experience from about 26 international projects all in the water sector. Mr. Holzmann as an experienced utility expert has access to modern water utility practices in various fields.
