I have always been fascinated with computers and technology. Looking "under the hood" of things to figure out how they operate makes them much clearer when making decisions. I have always looked at things analytically to verify that they are always as optimal as possible. Taking the time to look at trends, business, and how the economy is moving has helped me make make business as cost-effective as possible. Being able to see how they play into each other is a benefit to business analysis. Being able to make those connections and show evidence in a clear concise way is how business maximizes itself. In my experience, spending the time to look at where purchasing for a few days of inventory or where purchasing a larger quantity for an extended period, like a year, could be beneficial. It is crucial to constantly look at pricing and verifying that your distributor is the lowest cost while factoring in their turns. Is this item going to be popular in a few months? Should I order for the upcoming season? When Should I wind down inventory on these items?Using what I have learned in my 20+ years in management, I am an asset in any business. Critical thinking and analysis is necessary to make the most informed decisions possible. Making the business move optimally to maximize profits and benefits to the organization is the penultimate goal while meeting the needs to employees.
