Motogp Media Manager
CurrentSince 2010 I have been in charge of the accreditation of all the members of the printed media (newspapers, photo and news agencies, magazines) and of the organization and running of the Media Center in all of the 18 rounds comprising the MotoGP Calendar, in 13 countries within 5 continents. As of today, I have organized more than 200 Grand Prix with this role, having arranged meetings, solved issues, and organized events in Spain, Portugal, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Qatar, United States, Argentina, the Netherlands, and many others.Current duties as MotoGP Media Officer: • Provide instructions to all the applicants on how to request a media accreditation.• Administer the entire media accreditation process and approve or deny accreditation depending on whether applicant fulfils the requirements.• Produce all media passes, confirmations, pass lists, pass delivery system (including the supervision of the Accreditation center, briefing the Accreditation Center staff on their duties and solving problems that may arise).• Run the media center and ensure a smooth operation of all services: timekeeping, internet and telecommunications, results, information, security. • Provide assistance with anything and everything that the members of the media may require at any moment of the event. • Administer databases of accidents and crashes during races and elaborate reports accordingly• Administer mailing lists.• Collaborate with local teams (National Press Officers and their local staff) to ensure a homogeneous working environment for the media in all the circuits.• Liaise with different departments (events, race direction, security, logistics, sponsoring)• Create and implement the FIM Environmental management Plan for Press Room, a pioneer project to execute all the possible ecological measures in the MotoGP Media Center.
