Previously, I had worked for five years as a teacher and headmaster in Tunas Pertiwi School.Prior to it, I worked as a community development officer (CDO) in Yayasan Cipta Fondasi Komunitas for two years to design and implement reproductive health youth program based on social research which collaborate with various sectors. The program was called Sahabat Remaja Mentawai. It was implemented as a pilot program and presented at a collaborative project meeting with Pencerah Nusantara – Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia with the Provincial Government of West Sumatera.In this program, we empowered youth, to enable them to speak openly about their problems in routine district meetings before the head of the Puskesmas, heads of local police department and representatives from the district BKKBN, school principals and representatives of the district government.
