I deliver privacy and AI governance solutions that deliver real value to organisations. Leveraging over two decades' experience advising NZ, Australian and UK clients on complex privacy and technology law issues, I now focus on pragmatic, risk-based approaches that empower organisations to harness the power of personal information and the responsible use of AI, fostering trust and your organisation's reputation. Previous experience includes leading the Digital Law teams at EY Law across Australasia and serving as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at a tech company. In addition to my privacy experience, I have significant hands-on practical experience helping organisations design and develop Responsible AI frameworks. Today, I continue to advance best practices in AI governance as a member of the AI Forum NZ's Executive Council, the global advisory board for the IAPP’s AI Governance Center, the IAPP ANZ Advisory Board and the Data Ethics Advisory Group convened by the Government Chief Data Steward that provides cross-governmental advice on data ethics.I also teach the IAPP's AI Governance Professional course.
