ForFarmers is an internationally operating feed company that offers Total Feed solutions for conventional and organic livestock farming. As Finance Director I am part of the NL Country management team and end-responsible for all commercial and operations finance matters, as well as statutory and tax matters relating to these activities.

Responsible for Group Controlling activities (planning, reporting, performance measurement) for the Cheese operating company, consisting of 5 separate Business Units. In 2012, total sales amounted to over EUR 1bln, which is expected to increase further due to the successfull completion of 2 acquisitions late 2012 and early 2013.The Cheese operating company is producing, ripening and packaging Gouda, Maasdam and Edam cheeses in our modern cheese production companies in the Netherlands. Most of these cheeses make their way to European consumers via supermarkets, specialty shops and professional clients and processors. We have our own sales locations but we also work with distributors. Thanks to our distribution network, our Dutch cheese classics are also found outside Europe, primarily under our Frico brand. We have sales offices in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Greece and Russia.

Project management of group-wide projects with Finance/Controlling impact:- Working capital reduction program, focused at improving the Group's working capital by approximately 20% (over 2 years) through the implementation of standard processes and working capital management best practices throughout the Group.Project manager responsibility for coordination of external consultancy support, communication with Opcos and central KPI monitoring. Also involved in other working capital related initiatives (i.e. implementation of Supply Chain Financing facility)- Implementation Manager for business restructure of strategically important business category. Setting up regional hub in Asia and introduction of central operating model for all countries in the region. Significant involvement with Corporate Tax (tax structuring) and other disciplines involved in the restructure (Supply Chain, HR, IT, Legal). - Introduction of new capex reporting procedure and tooling to budget, authorise and monitor capital investments for the Groups production facilities (>60 globally).
