In the fall of 2003, I was laid off by a South Florida based customer service/telemarketing company called Technion that handled a Bank of America account which the bank discontinued. I grew frustrated with the inconsistencies I encountered in this industry. I thought to myself about the different fields that I could I get into that might provide me with job security. I thought to myself that security should be a stable field considering that 911 occurred 2 years prior. So I took the steps to get certified as an armed security officer. I started my career in Miami night clubs. Since then, I've worked at private schools, warehouses, construction sites, corporate & government building, private events at homes, and even working on television shows. In 2005, I moved to Atlanta and began working for AlliedBarton Security Services. Within 3 months I was promoted to an armed shift supervisor position. Our client was the Department of Public Safety for the city of Atlanta. In April of 2007, I began working for Dunbar Armour and was quickly promoted to Armed Vault Supervisor within 4 months. During the fall of 2008, enrolled in Everest University and majored in "Homeland Security" which prepared me for both law enforcement and private security. I graduated in the winter of 2012 with an A.S. Degree. In summer of 2013, after having worked a couple years, I was promoted to Director of Security at Dewberry Capital Realty Firm. In March of 2014, went to work for Hinson Security Services and eventually rose through the ranks and became a Operations Manager. Still working with Hinson Security Services, I have recently returned to my first love - Sales.
