IBS is 76 year old not for profit (501c3) education corporation with over 1,000 IBS Members. All IBS Board Members, Officers, and Staff are all volunteers. IBS offers coast-to-coast conferences about broadcasting and webcasting at schools and colleges. Passionate advocate for General Aviation at Stewart a NY/NJ Port Authority Airport. Stewart and on airport organizations employ over 5,000 people. Many work at the NY Air National Guard C-17 105th Air Wing and its Marine Corps C-130 tenant command. Some work at the two FBO (Fixed Base Operators), Atlantic Aviation and Airborne Aviation. FEDEX and UPS have facilities at SWF. CESSNA (Jet) Maintenance employs around 100 people at Stewart. Stewart is the home for the WINGS of USMA West Point, which is nearby.As the ASNV for SWF, and a CAPT (ret) US Navy, and a volunteer FAASTeam Volunteer (FAA Safety Team), and Board Member for NYAMA (www.nyama.com)(NY Aviation Management Association) I sponsor, and or participate in, a wide variety of aviation activities at Stewart.Stewart Airport Commission (SAC) New York State government agency operated by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) advising the State. New York State owns Stewart and leases the airport to the Port Authority of NY/NJ. SAC Presenter - I make frequent presentation to SAC, often resulting in unanimous resolutions of support by SAC for the issue presented.

Work with students, parents, and guidance counselors to provide information on admissions to U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. Includes interviews, college nights, interfacing with high school JROTC Units and area youth organizations. Assist area Members of U. S. Congress in making Nominations to USNA. Assist student in applying for USNA Summer Seminars and other education opportunities.

Active Rotary Club supporting numerous local, regional, national, and international good will projects such as Polio Plus.

I retired from being the PAC Treasurer on September 16, 2015, when I retired from our NYAMA Board of Directors.Along with PAC President decide/approve/sign checks for all grants/donations.
