I build ML infrastructure & production systems, while supporting engineering process, desigin, and architecture throughout the organization. In my time at ASAPP I have designed and built our infrastructure for managing annotated data; worked directly with customer stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies; designed and implemented the base servers for our model-based services; and initiated & led the program to build our next-generation production experimentation platform.

Worked on a replacement search system for MSG & IB, a central component of the Bloomberg Terminal’s trading capabilities. Responsible for migrating MSG & IB search from HP Autonomy to Apache SOLR. Also responsible for developing the integration testing suite for the product, and building out tools for data analysis to improve understanding and targeting for MSG & IB search.

Improved the search system powering the consumer and B2B APIs for HERE Maps, used by com- panies ranging from Amazon & Facebook to BMW & Audi. Used machine learning to provide high quality ranking of search results.

Doctoral student researcher in artificial intelligence for video games. I am building a configurable any-time agent engine.

Student intern in cognitive robotics. Worked with ACT-RE cognitive architecture and various computer vision packages.

I worked on using Bayesian Networks to understand human social interactions in the form of simple games. Also built a framework for building mobile robot software.
