Stormwater Engineer reviewing new and redevelopment projects in the City of Olympia. From single family residences to large mixed use buildings, I'm familiar with how to review projects for conformance with the City of Olympia's 2016 Drainage Design and Erosion Control Manual as well as city code and other stormwater regulations. I review site development drawings, Drainage Design Reports, Hydrology Modeling Reports, Geotechnical Reports, Wetland Reports, Tree Studies, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. I'm also involved in the City's Capital Improvement Projects, currently applying for FEMA and Ecology grants as well as in the various stages of design of at least three water quality retrofits. I am responsible for planning and designing some of our in house projects that we do for our operations and maintenance division. Another part of my job is to respond to flooding and customer drainage issues, which gets busy during rainy season(s) here in Washington state.
