I decided to move to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and the financial services industry. Why the change? I felt strongly that Merrill offered me everything I was looking for in a long-term career in which I could help clients pursue their financial objectives and dreams-including a goals-based wealth management process, access to global resources, innovative technology, and services that I believe could enhance the ability of clients to pursue what matters most to them. I think of myself as someone who understands the demands and complexities of wealth…and I'm convinced that no matter how much money a client may have, putting a retirement plan in place is one of the most important things I can help an individual to do, while working with that client on an overall financial strategy. I believe that once I have helped a client determine his or her lifetime cash flow needs, we can focus on the other pieces of that client's financial life.I think it's important to really get to know a client's risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs and goals, and to pay close attention to both sides of that client's balance sheet. My ability to offer goals-based wealth management services as well as access to the banking convenience of Bank of America, provides a way to help clients to integrate and manage all the pieces of their financial lives. I have a M.Sc. degree with a major in Electronics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. And I give time and energy to my community in a number of ways, including coaching soccer and supporting local schools. My wife and I and our 2 children are proud residents of Pasadena.
