I am a chemical engineer graduated from the Universidade Federal de São João Del Rei (UFSJ).During my time at the university, I was part of the chemical engineering students' union, of which I was president. I was also a researcher student in a project that consisted in the modeling and simulation of aerospace propulsion. I took semester break during the course in order move to Ireland, there I had the change to study English with native teachers and live the irish culture, becoming myself a C1 level. As soon as I returned, I started teaching English at a language sachool in my town, where I taught children from the aged of 5 to advanced adults.I was an intern at Vallourec,a french multinational company, in the quality sector of three different areas: raw material, pelletizing and blast furnace. I developed analyses, issued reports and conducted laboratory tests. I also developed technical support for the improvement ideas of the three areas based on continuous improvement methodologies. My internship got me even more involved and interested in the industrial area.I find the multidisciplinarity that chemical engineering provides, such as modeling and simulation, data analysis, project management very appealing. I consider myself a very communicative and curious person. I also do enjoy teamwork as it allows the exchange of knowledge between people and different points of view on the same subject.
