Responsibilities: - Participation in the research project "Energodizel" to develop a new family of diesel engines. - Structural and thermal calculations of diesel engines and diesel generators parts and elements. - Simulation of diesel engines parts and elements failure, fatigue calculations. - Simulation training of company’s engineers. Checking of simulation results and technical support. Results: - All the structural calculations of conceptual and technical design stages of a new family of diesel engines are approved by the Ministry of Industry of Russian Federation. - Held a series of simulations to detect the causes and develop measures to reduce structural resonances in the serial diesel generator. - Held the simulation to detect the causes of cracks in the serial aluminum engine head and further simulation and optimization of the form of engine head made from cast iron. The new cast iron head is now produced and used in the serial engine.- Developed a method of determining the equivalent perturbing forces and moments at the center of a diesel engine using simulation and measurement of vibration acceleration at shock absorbers.
