Lead software development engineer for x Tools project.Over the course of 4+ years in the firm, I had created around 50+ large and unique tools which were integrated into the x tools for single point access which again saved in excess of >500 resource hours / day.Created an entire VSTO project & single point installer from scratch for Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Outlook with >100 KLOC of code with <5% duplication and all green pointers on Sonarqube dash.

Started with a R&D project for VSTO tools then later incorporated into x Project & Automation team in later years.

1. Worked on x tool which is entirely responsible for smart subrogation process to filter out the invalid claims from insurance providerThis is a significantly old tool from early 2000's which was coded on C#.net / WinForms, with basic threads and background workers with over 50 KLOC of messy code.I had cleaned the code towards async/await and segregating neatly to organized classes and build newer features with WPF which made the tool much more productive as well as the performance improvement was significant with proper use of multithreading and Tasks.2. Created Excel VSTO application for complex MIS project.This was scheduled on scheduler and ran every morning for almost an hour, which saved hundreds of resource hours / month and was automated to different scenarios end to end.

1. Government project - CMRL [Chennai Metro Rail Limited] & Nippon Signal.The project is about collecting data from different file sources like Text, CSV, Excel etc and doing a multilevel formatting which is different for different files in to Sql server.WPF Tool was created with dashboard kind of information with advanced grids and progress and fully automated end to end with customizable scheduler from the app itself which will firing up every day for couple of hours to pour the data through pipeline to formatted Sql server tables.2. Government project - CMRL [Chennai Metro Rail Limited]The second phase of the project where the dashboard and smart analytics logic were created.Numerous live custom analytics logic ran over the recent week data to project the bottle neck regions with high turn over which were neatly mapped with the time of the day with eye catchy 3rd party DevExpress WPF controls.

1. C#.NET, VB.NET, VB scripts, Excel Macros (coded more than 10 KLOC with complex programming and automation), developing stand-alone automation applications in WF & WPF in .Net Framework.2. Worked on ICD9 to ICD10 data migration for x client.Many complex Regular expression queries were created to filter and format the data and then moved to new normalized sql server database.

Developed a stand-alone WF/WPF application for Number plate recognition system for Spenzer plaza mall parking which saved them 8h * 4 person = 32 resource hours / dayThe accuracy of the number plate recognition was >90% on real-time scenarios2. Created a WPF application for multiple photo studios which writes pictures & videos in bulk to CD/DVD's (~500+ discs / day) and also enabled them a much more custom approach to quickly close/open multiple trays with a single run command.This saved them a lot of cost on multiple fronts from productivity to hardware issue fix.
