Courtauld Institute Of Art Jun 2014 - Jan 2015
    • I developed a display titled ‘Winter Mode’ with Dr. Rebecca Arnold and Alexis Romano, one of several featured in Somerset House’s ‘Fashioning Winter’ exhibition. (11.11.2014-11.01.2015) Our exhibit focused on fashion magazines from the 1910s and 1920s and demonstrated how fashion illustrators enticed and entertained readers through imaginative representations of winter dress. We also created an accompanying booklet, which conjures up fashion magazines contemporary to the objects on display. This way, visitors were encouraged to engage with the display in a more tactile manner.

The project investigated how visitors perceive clothing in an immersive exhibition environment. We implemented qualitative and quantitative research methods, led a small staff of interns who helped carry out our fieldwork and wrote up our results in an article for the Journal of Fashion and Popular Culture. Other responsibilities: • Assisted the curatorial team of 'Hollywood Costume' by scanning in costume sketches, transcribing interviews and sourcing accessories for the costumes on display. • Gave monthly tours of the Theatre and Performance galleries to the public
