Peoria, AZ, October 25, 2014 – Vitrum View, LLC has announced the appointment of Elliott D. Frutkin as their new Chief Executive Officer. He will assume responsibilities immediately. Mr. Frutkin is a co-founder of Vitrum View, LLC and has been part of the Vitrum View, LLC since its inception. He served as Chief Technology Officer before being promoted to CEO. During that time he conceived the idea for the company’s flagship product, Real Estate View™ for Google Glass. In addition, he raised initial funding for the company, developed and implemented the companies software development processes and sales and marketing systems. Edward Knipp, who is also a co-founder of the company, will remain as President.

The Frutkin Law Firm began with its Accu Law Group division, serving as General Counsel to SMBs, with a focus on emerging technology companies. When it was time to grow the firm, I managed market analysis, advertising and social media to identify and drive growth areas. By setting up a scalable infrastructure of internal systems, the law firm grew from 1 small office to 4 statewide locations and into one of the largest bankruptcy law firms in the State. Trusts and Estate Planning also grew dramatically and in 2013 the firm was named the top Arizona law firm for Trusts and Estate Planning by Arizona Foothills Magazine. Six experienced attorneys were added to the staff of the law firm to handle the additional clients.

Reporting directly to Blackboard, CEO, acted as the Senior Sales Engineer for key company-wide pre-sales opportunities involving products across lines of business. In my role as Vice President of Special Initiatives I was also tasked with leading teams to analyze potential acquisitions, pricing and organizational structure. Blackboard raised $103m in venture capital and executed a successful IPO. In 2011 Blackboard agreed to a $1.64 billion buyout by an investor group led by Providence Equity Partners.

Accelerated the implementation of organized business structure to support one of the fastest growing music related technologies since the original Napster. Partnered with the Electronic Frontier Foundation and submitted an Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Attended the Supreme Court arguments during MGM vs. Grokster landmark case. Prevailed in the large scale implementation, promotion and sale of digital track recording technology in early 2006.

Through a unique executive sharing arrangement, acted as Chief Operating Officer to one of the regions most respected non-profits. “Greater DC Cares connects community assets – skills, time and goods – with community needs in ways that improve lives and strengthen our region.” Managed a membership of 16,000 individuals, 310 corporations and 415 not-for-profits. In the post 9/11 environment, Greater DC Cares was at the core of constructing a technology solution to mobilize volunteers in an emergency management situation (skilled volunteers i.e. doctors, nurses, welders, heavy machinery operators as well as unskilled). Managed major crisis with the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency in Washington DC and held a seat at the Washington DC Emergency Management Operations Center.

Co-founded and built a profitable technology software company. Accelerated Doceus’ growth to the 18th fastest growing technology company in the region as ranked by the Techway Fast 50 in 2001. Conceptualized and led development efforts of the Associant® Software Suite designed for member driven Associations and ensured easy integration with third party software – one of the first SaaS products. Established key business and community partnerships including Microsoft (with a prestigious company seat on its partner Board of Advisors), Advanced Solutions International, Kintera and Dynlink. Featured speaker at business, entrepreneurship and industry events. Company was sold in 2005 for a substantial gain shareholders.
