Main activities and responsibilities - Maintain, adaptatations and continuous improvement of the Energy Management System (EnMS) · Developed a structure based on the P-D-C-A- Ensure improvement of the energy efficiency and the energy and water consumption diminutions as well as the CO2 emission reduction- Responsible for all the activities and for the durability of the ISO 50001 Certification · ISO 50001 recertifications obtained in November 2018 and November 2021 (new version of the standard ISO50001:2018) · Developed an internal communication concept, introduced training of employees and organized the 1st Merck European on energy efficiency as well as participating and presenting for different symposiums/forums- Manage the relations with the federal (OFEV-OFEN). cantonal (DGE-DIREN) and with the Merck entities as well as the associated obligations and programs · Management and follow up of the agreement on the CO2 emission reduction signed with the Confederation (OFEV) · Management and follow up of the commitment on the energy efficiency increase signed with the Canton de Vaud · Management and follow up of the Merck objective in greenhouse gas emission reduction · Introduction, selection and follow up of the subsidy programs- Follow up of all Projects and Purchases on an energy point of view through Energy Statements, strategic choice, advice and reporting- Proposals, studies and follow up of specific projects like PV installations, heat supply, etc.Active participation to energy purchasing · Contribution to the purchasing strategy on open market as well as for the selection of suppliers and partners- Proposals and follow up of Master Thesis · Detailed study on HVAC (significant energy use) · Pinch analysis for the whole site · Multi-criteria and multi-dimensional method for the Significant Energy Use analysis

Main activities and responsibilities :Energy field- Coordinate the implementation of an Energy Management System in view to be ISO 50001 certified (certification obtained in Dec 2015)- Administrate the Energy Management System (EnMS)- Review plans and proposals to analyze energy efficiency and assess engineering feasibility- Analyze energy consumptions (gas, electricity and water) and reduce them in making existing systems more energy efficient- Manage relations with federal (OFEV-OFEN) and cantonal (DGE-DIREN) authorities as well as with different consultantsMaintenance reliability and Process efficiency- Manage projects for the Utilities and Process maintenance groups in relation with equipment obsolescence, reliability and efficiency as well as maintenance strategy and methods- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects to ensure success in terms of quality, time and budget for the Utilities and Process Maintenance field of activities- Provide engineering expertise into Utilities and Process Maintenance field of activitiesCompliance field- Coordinate the Change Control Proposal (CCP) for the Utilities and Process maintenance groups- Deal with regulatory compliance issues and provide support to the technical staff (Deviations & Investigations)

- Carry out installations, maintenances and repairs of the Optical Emission Spectrometers as well as training of the users (Customers)- Manage critical and important field problems (study, investigation, resolution and implementation), this in collaboration with all the factory departments and Field teams
