Community CARES Partners (CCP) is making a difference for Oklahomans by providing assistance to individuals and families facing housing crisis and eviction as a result of lost wages or hardship due to COVID-19. CCP is a public/private partnership under the direction of Communities Foundation of Oklahoma. I implement policies to promote company culture and vision as well as manage operations to keep our businesses running smoothly. Bethany Children's Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma. Our CARF accredited multidisciplinary team works with patients and their families to maximize the patient’s physical and cognitive potential, and ensure the family has the training and resources needed for a smooth transition from hospital to home.As the Vice-President of Patient Support Service, I had the opportunity to serve, mentor, support and build strong leaders within our organization. I created open lines of communication and provided encouragement and motivation for team members to excel. My responsibilities included oversight in five major departments of the Hospital (all had direct interaction with the patients and families we served). • Social Services• Business Referral and Development• Nutrition Services• Pastoral Care• Guest RelationsIn addition to departmental supervision, I also served on the Executive Leadership Team, worked as an Administrative Liaison and Chair for Family Advisory Council (FAC), Researched, created and led Steering Committee and Planning Committees, and implemented the hospital Family Advisory Council. I served as the hospital Grievance Coordinator and Committee Chair, established a hospital Family Connections group for peer-to-peer family support, oversaw the mobile care cart and family book club. This role required me to provide quarterly crucial conversation training in-services for team members and ongoing project lead for various other development and implementation projects.
