I am Nokia NRS 1 certified. I provision Cell Carrier EPIPE's and VPLS services on ALU and in some markets interconnected to MRV Ethernet switches using ERPS as network protection. I also provision and troubleshoot Enterprise circuits using Accedian NID's to bookend EPIPE's or DWDM WAVES. I am the an On-call to troubleshoot Layer 1 Ekinops DWDM waves and Booster/Pre-Amp issues. When I started at PEG, monitoring of a small DWDM network was nonexistent. I SNMP walked and recommended Ekinops SNMP MIB's and formulas for active monitoring and adding Alarm Traps. Work in PEG LAB's on testing ERP ring switch issues. Inter-operability testing for roll out of next phase MRV to ALU 7750 back haul solution.I consider my experience in L1 DWDM, Layer 2 Ethernet switching and IP/MPLS networks carrying Enterprise and Carrier traffic. I just add value to the monitoring experience through reduction of blind-spots.

Assigned as a Project Integration Team member and working as Tier 2 IP Change Management for HP/EDS Enterprise Services GNOC group. Implement Changes on customer managed equipment per Workgroup Instructions of HP standard management template on customer equipment for TACACS, alarming SYSLOG, SNMP and Service Level required configurations. Project focused, to configure hundreds of devices using HP NA. HP’s Network Automation tool is used to backup, configure, verify and validate configurations. Monitor and support the IP Access NanoBTS program for T-Mobile. IPAccess is a UK based company for an IP backhaul A-bis interface product over public internet. These Nano's are small wattage radios deployed in Office buildings, Hospitals and locations where Macro coverage is difficult. Cisco Routers are used in some cases where 3 or more NanoBTS's are in use. I support the field operations technicians with configurations and all Ip issues back to the BSC.
