I am a materials scientist focusing on the relationship between materials, processing and expected performance.I have a strong expertise in the understanding of the link between constituents properties, microstructure, architecture and the non linear deformation and failure behaviour.Through the years i have always followed a dual experimental and modeling approach, enabling the right characterization and simulation tools to help understanding the fundamental mechanisms using multiscale and building block approaches.I have been lucky to practice & master several advance manufacturing processes such as RTM, SLS, SLM, FDM, stamping, stamping-overmoulding, ... both experimental, hands-on and from an advanced modeling and simulation standpoint. In particular, i have developed an excellent background in design for manufacturing and performance. I like to do this work directly for customers, together with them, keeping excellent communication and ensuring technology transfer. Hence, i am essentially customer focused, and i like difficult technical challenges.Besides, i am a good technical manager of small to medium size teams, where technical connection is required. I have an excellent technical-commercial track record with direct customers in the aerospace and automotive sectors. I also have a good list of scientific publications and i have been coordinator and principal investigator of several FP6, FP7, H2020, Skywin, Innoviris, ESA, ... projects.
