My background in financial markets spans the full spectrum of assets (rates, credit, equity, liquid alternatives), with a specific focus on capital optimisation and ALM constraints.In 2023, I joined the Fintech/Insurtech industry, leading the investment and capital initiative of Stubben Edge across all its activities.During my banking career, I developed and originated multiple high value added transactions for (re)insurance companies across Europe and Bermuda, including contingent capital (Contingent Equity Lines for Coface and SCOR, Equity-Neutral Convertible Bond for a Tier 1 leading reinsurer), protected equity funds, complex insurance securitization, optimization of Letters of Credit facilities for reinsurance companies and Lloyds of London players, credit basis and relative value trades (tactical investment), complex interest rates and inflation hedging, innovative hedging solution of future revenues and capital volatility for life insurance companies.My approach is/was to listen to insurers to be truly client-specific and solution driven. All insurers are different. The solutions developed to help them tackle their issues and address what keeps them awake at night must be different as well.I started my career in the Ministry of Finance, as "Inspecteur des Finances" (IGF), before joining the Autorité de Controle Prudentiel (French insurance supervisory agency, now ACPR) as a senior insurance regulator.As of 2005, I joined financial and strategic advisories, being promoted as a Managing Director in 2007.
