I am determined to create effective change within the healthcare system and provide better support and resources to patients. I am a caregiver by nature, in my personal and professional life, and I relish opportunities to support my patients. A career in the acquisition and exercise of medical knowledge is the greatest application of both the resilience I have developed and my driving desire to serve others. I am a comprehensive example of every trait needed in a student and professional who will form effective teams and create beneficial change. My perseverance will allow me to achieve success despite obstacles that hinder its path, not quit in the face of adversity, not give up on others in difficult situations, and not lose sight of my strengths in challenging times. I am not afraid of failure, as it is necessary to be successful. I am not afraid to make mistakes, as it is imperative to learn. I am not afraid of challenge, or the steps needed to create change.
