Project Portfolio include - Thermal battery, Dual loop cooling, Phase changing material, Thermal electric generation, Rankine cycle, Next generation SCR technology, etc. Actively supported the Concurrent Engine Design & Manufacturing Methodology project and contributed significantly in the area of CAD/CAM and high speed machining. Provided technical and management leadership to a 100-Day Engine project that reduced cost, timing and flexibility and incorporated new design changes at a fraction of the cost. The project won internal company recognition. Led the team that developed three new algorithms that automatically generate 5-axis, collision free, NC tool-paths from a CAD models, which have been licensed to Geometric Software Solutions Limited (GSSL), who is a leading provider of CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM software to vendors worldwide, in particular SDRC. Cultivate a University Research program focus in a joint effort with MIT which resulted in the development of the damped tool that reduces the chatter problem in long tools and was the recipient of the 1998 R& D 100 award. Also worked with MIT on the kinematic coupling that accurately locates components and was recipient of the 1999 R & D 100 award. Led the Powertrain Team in support of the show car a program which showcased harmony in a future Mercury brand design with the world's first Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) capable diesel hybrid Powertrain, personalized electronics and emerging safety technologies. As a Technical Leader of the SCR & DSI Development Section, contributed on the diesel truck programs, including solving urea mixing problems and implementation of the SCR technology.
