About Francis Shovlin

I've been in the search industry since 2007, and at Seer Interactive since 2010. Most of my time has been focused on PPC/SEM. I came on board at Seer as a PPC Account Manager where my role covered everything from client communication to implementation of paid search tactics. In 2013, I took on the position of Team Lead where I lead a team of 8 and roughly 25 clients. During that time, I broadened my knowledge of analytics by becoming GAIQ certified, and mobile & display advertising. In 2016, I was promoted to Director of PPC, overseeing the department and responsible for the P&L, and roughly 50 team members and 75 clients. Between 2016-2019, the team grew by 60% and revenue grew by 65%. In 2020, I wanted a new challenge and to be closer to one of my passions: working directly with our clients. I started to dig deeper into how all channels integrate at a tactical, strategic and technology level. This prompted a move to Seer’s Client Engagement team after spending my entire career within PPC.Specialties: Excel, Power BI, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Advertising Editor, Google Analytics, Acquisio, and Kenshoo.Certified in Google, Bing Ads, GAIQ and Kenshoo.Academic experience with statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, and MiniTab.
