About Franco Lucio Simonetti

I'm interested in Systems Medicine of complex diseases, large-scale genomic/transcriptomic/omics analysis and statistical methods. I work on developing methods to analyze omic and clinical data for better health care diagnostics and treatment. I focus on the analysis of genetic ancestries and the current bias present in available data to create new (polygenic) models. We believe that further research in these areas can provide us with better and equitable precision medicine in Argentina and around the globe.I'm also interested in using protein language models (LLMs) to better understand the function of disordered proteins and biocondensates, and how their function is affected by mutations.
